Crown of the Continent:
Profile of a Treasured Landscape
Teachers, natural history
interpreters, and others interested in the Rocky Mountains of Montana
and Canada will welcome a new document describing this special international
region, the Crown of the Continent Ecosystem.
Crown
of the Continent: Profile of a Treasured Landscape is a
120-page science-based document that has been widely reviewed by
scientists and historians. It describes the natural and human resources
of the region and includes several full-color maps.
The mountains, forests,
and wildlife of this area don't recognize international borders
drawn on the map," said Dr. Lex Blood, COCEEC founder. "We
try to better understand this region by looking beyond those borders."
"We hope this document
will dramatically assist in broadening knowledge of and support
for the people and natural resources of this spectacular area,"
he said.
NOTE:
Copies of Crown of the Continent: Profile of a Treasured Landscape can
be purchased for $17 plus shipping and handling.
