Mission:

The Glacier Field Station's mission, as part of the U.S. Geological Survey, Northern Rocky Mountain Science Center (NRMSC), is to conduct integrated, interdisciplinary research in support of natural resource management in the Northern Rocky Mountains. NRMSC is based at Bozeman, Montana, with field stations at West Glacier and Missoula, Montana. Staff work in collaboration with Federal and state agencies, Native American tribes, academic institutions, and organizations to produce and disseminate scientific information needed to support natural resource management decisions..
